Hello there,
So I am having some major issues with my desktop computer. Whenever I start up the computer, it shows the normal windows loading icon with a black screen (but the image looks a little pixelated and you can tell something is wrong), then goes directly into the BSOD displaying an error of:

BSOD - Compaq Presario CQ43 Notebook
Hi All,
Discovered the forum whilst troubleshooting a BSOD i keep getting on my notebook.
I don't have any specifics other than the dump file attached as this is a shared notebook and all users get the bsod which then requires a manual power cycle to log back on.
I have run the hp diagnostics utility using F2 at startup and all tests passed.
All assistance is much appreciated.

Sudden, Unexplained BSOD with No Text
Hi, I hope someone can help.
I posted a similar query in January as this was when I first encountered the issue.
At the time I thought the problem was connected to my Xbox controller as the BSOD occurred
after I plugged it into the USB port. However, this time the BSOD occurred while I was reading an online article at telegraph.co.uk. My laptop's screen suddenly went black while I was...

Multiple BSOD after clean install
First, very slick BSOD tool!
I installed a new WD 2TB HD and performed a clean install of Win 7 with service pack 1 slip-streamed. I was surprised to get multiple BSOD on my Dell Studio XPS 8100. I have researched this for the past week and found:
Malwatebytes caused BAD POOL HEADER BSOD and I have uninstalled and that went away.
Bitdefender seems to be causing ...

Bugcheck 124 - Hal.dll - Need a read on what is failing
I know this is a hardware failure based on a little research. This machine used to be stable but crashes about every 6 - 48 hours.
I have replaced a PSU (the fan seemed to be going anyway), updated the Bios, added a case fan and reset my bios so that over clocking is off (I think it got turned on during a previous bios flash).
I unfortuantely don't have the time to read up on reading...

I Installed Windows 7 SP1 x64 on my custom computer two nights ago. I've been running Linux as of late, but I really wanted to play a Windows exclusive game that I have been having my eye on. I received a CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINITATION (0xF4) error code that points to "csrss.exe" and "wininit.exe" as the culprits.
Some history on my build and previous problem:

Driver causing BSOD, can't tell which one
I looked at the minidump myself, but I wasn't sure how to interpret it. I'm pretty sure it's telling me that the BSOD is being caused by a driver, but not sure which one it could be. Anyone have any ideas?

HDD looks healthy according to programs, GPU and CPU dont react in any negative way to stress...

BSOD when playing games
Hello!
I get a BSOD when playing games, which I believed to be due to overheating, only really occurring after playing games like Sid Meier's Civilization V or Company of Heroes for long periods of time. But now it happens after playing Hotline Miami or Don't Starve for a little under an hour. My PC is rather old and not the best so I usually do run everything at the lowest graphical settings. I...

4 BSOD in a row when starting up my computer this am error: 0x0000001e
I am able to use my computer only in safe mode. I tried a system restore but that didn't help. I ran malware bytes and super anti spyware but didn't come up with anything more than cookies. Then I downloaded a utility to identify the driver, blue screen view was the software. It found one driver that was involved, ntoskrnl.exe. That's all I know.
thanks for any help you can give me,
