BSOD + Sony Vegas, error 0x00000124

I have been troubleshooting BSOD errors for the past couple of months and I could really use some help. I'm not certain, but I believe the errors started after I upgraded to Java 7. Uninstalling and reinstalling Java didn't help. I'd usually get a BSOD when using programs such as Photoshop and Sony Vegas or when watching HD youtube videos.

Random DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD
Started getting a BSOD this am randomly. The only thing that I can think of was a couple tweeks in the Nvidia Inspector so I clicked the default settings but still get the BSOD's DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP:0X000000D1. It doesn't seem to have any obvious ques to the crash but if I fire up FSX it will happen with in a few minutes.

Solved BSOD - laptop wont shutdown properly [SF logs attached]
Hi all
My laptop is experiencing BSOD and the SF logs are attached. All I can really add is that the laptop is only a week old and is vanilla with only Win 7 64 bit installed with some, but not all, of the latest Windows Updates.
Any help would be really appreciated : )

I am experiencing apparantly random BSODs (about once a week or so). It has been going on for a long time, but the frequency has increased. A few weeks back it occurred during shutdown as well, but that seems to have passed.

BSOD Driver Power State Failure
I am getting the bsod error driver power state failure. It appears to be random unless i go to play star wars the old republic and it does it with in about 10 minutes of playing every time. Hi all, been getting lock ups and BSODs on win XP for a while and presumed it just needed reinstalling as it was several years old, however I took the oportunity to move to W7 (fresh install not upgrade) and I'm still having problems.

Hi,
I've never had a problem with Windows 7 until today.
Today I was working online and the screen froze, a few seconds later I got the BSOD with Error 0x00000124.
