I posted before christmas with a similar problem and eventually tracked it down to a faulty GTX 760 gpu so I took it out and have been running off the one.
A little while later I started getting hard reboots with no bsod whilst ingame, the odd bsod which hangs and doesnt reboot and even bsod whilst playing flash games like candy crush. All with the usual 0x124 error code which apparently...

BSOD randomly, no recent hardware installs
Hey y'all!
New member here looking for some help with random BSODs.
It seems like it happens the most when I'm playing music on my computer, the music being stored on my primary hard drive. Sometimes it will happen as Windows is loading, before the computer has a chance to load the login screen.
The error varies at times from IRQL LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO or SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION.

cdd.dll - can't find the problem

I've had a recurring problem with BSODs, related to a "cdd.dll" and I can't seem to find out where the problem is coming from. I tried driver verifier, but it resulted in me not being able to boot into Windows.

Starting to get some BSOD's mostly while alt+esc form mw2.
So I have begun to get some BSOD's I've looked around on how to read the dumpfiles myself,but have come up with naught, so once again, I come here and bother you.
The BSOD mostly happens when I alt+esc (alt tabbing doesnt work) out of the game to do other stuff while loading, and then go back in.

Brand new computer build. I ran memtest86 on my old ram cards. After about 10 hours it came back with 5 errors. I took the RAM back to the store got the same brand (Patriot 1600Mhz 16GB RAM). I ran memtest86 twice on the new ram and theres no errors.

The system had some malware which has been cleaned using MalwareBytes full scan.
The BSOD do not appear to relate to any particular activity; the system is used at the reception desk of a dentist.

Has taken place twice.
The first time around, I went through the boot menu (F12) and selected my hard drive.
