Upgraded my PC; frequent BSoDs happen when PC sits
So far, I have been enjoying my new PC. I am using three old hard drives as slave drives and they have windows on them still, and haven't been formatted. BSOD whenever I run Matlab - happened 3 times in one day
So I've now been getting an increased number of BSoDs whenever I run Matlab. The version I run is R2012b. For many months, Matlab seemed to work without ever BSoDing, but it just suddenly started to frequently produce BSoDs for some reason. It seems I can't get a break with the laptop I have.

What I did so far*
1. I tested the single RAM module (4GB) with Memtest86+, no errors, I ran several passes
2. I tested the CPU using Prime95, no problem there.
3. An IT specialist took the laptop apart, changed the thermal paste on the processor, cleaned everything etc. etc.
