I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. I'm guessing all the other technical details are in my profile since I filled that stuff out when I registered. A few days ago my laptop started BSODing when I closed the lid. It's set to do nothing but turn the screen off when I close the lid. I recently discovered that this only happens if it has been put to sleep, and woken up again. This does not...

This has been occurring frequently and I'm not sure what is causing it. Sometimes I'll just leave the computer on and when I return it'll have restarted with a popup saying that a BSOD error has occurred. The computer was running for a while without power to the graphics card (and it would always have a pop up from Nivea control panel saying something like advanced features for graphics card...

So far, I have been enjoying my new PC. I am using three old hard drives as slave drives and they have windows on them still, and haven't been formatted. I also recently found a virus on one of the old drives and removed it - it's possible that this is a virus problem, but I still have no idea. Thank you in advance.

Well, I'm here again. I've been at this BSOD for quite awhile now and I've hit a wall and I'm not sure where else to go or what to do at this point. I've already attempted Diskchecking and such. I've uninstalled drivers which I've read lead to this problem, I've tried re-installing windows all together and all that good stuff. I'm sorry, I'm not making this sound all that professional. As a...

My computer has been intermittently crashing with the *DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL* error for the past 2 weeks. This usually happens after I open a folder with a large number of files or if I have 2-3 applications running at the same time. I've formatted the PC and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 and received the error after an hour. I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) on an...

I'm getting BSOD's on a new PowerSpec B331 running Windows 7 Pro - 64 bit, 4gb mem, 1TB hard drive. It is part of a Workgroup. This is the second PowerSpec B331 that gets the BSOD's. When the BSOD's started on the first PowerSpec after installing QB Pro 2011, Dell 2335dn, Trend Micro, and Office, I took it back to Micro Center and they gave me a replacement unit no questions asked. The...

So I've now been getting an increased number of BSoDs whenever I run Matlab. The version I run is R2012b. For many months, Matlab seemed to work without ever BSoDing, but it just suddenly started to frequently produce BSoDs for some reason. One BSoD happened in the middle of coding, and another BSoD happened right when I shut down the program. I've attached three BSoD files here. I do use...

I tested the CPU using Prime95, no problem there. 3. An IT specialist took the laptop apart, changed the thermal paste on the processor, cleaned everything etc. etc. 4. So I've been having BSOD errors for 6 months now. After dealing with Microsoft for 5 months, they're basically told me that I'm on my own (after they admitted to causing the issue and recently installed a codec containing a virus on my computer which i have since removed). the whole issue started After Microsoft manually cleared my registry -without my permission- while trying to install office...

Sometimes crash my current browsing on internet browser (Google Chrome) too, and ask me for refresh/restore on "blue screen"(or purple?), but I dont know if it has something to do with it. OS has been reinstalled three days ago because of the viruses, but BSODs had appeared even before.
