I had a BSOD about a month ago and then another one a few days ago, those are the only BSOD's I have had on my PC since I built it about 6 months ago, the only change I did after I built it was I installed a new SSD and reinstalled windows. After "starting windows" with the little windows logo animation the curser shows for a split-second than black for a couple seconds and finally blue screen.

BSOD when quitting a heavy load game / Driver Verifier
Hi there.
I'm struggeling with an issue on my machine and hopefully someone can help me. I get sometimes a BSOD after I quitted a game, mostly when it is high end (e.g. Bioshock infinite). I activated then Driver Verifier to search for the source of the problem, got a bluescreen after 1 minute with a reference to HIDCLASS.SYS.

Last week I received new mem for my computer, going from 4 (2x2) to 12 (2x2 + 2x4) GB. After installing the new memory, I started receiving BSOD's and my computer crashed frequently or just failed to boot (stuck at windows loading). Turns out the new memory was DOA (memtest confirmed this).

Hang on Bootup, Black screen w/ movable mouse, caused by power service

Black screen. No warning. No BSOD.
My wife was surfing the web using IE, she had two documents open in Word. I had BTD5 [flash game] running in a Opera window for about 8-9 hours, and the game does put a bit of a load on a single core.
After [having the game open] about 5 hours, I changed my power options to Full Power, and it's been customized to be the same as my normal Power Saver, but it will not sleep.
