i was away for 2 months from my computer which was healthy and without any problems but after i came back there is sudden lags in applications that used to load noticeably faster such as MW3 and other games and i ran ccleaner to help making it load faster but it didnt work i was encountered by a BSOD after a while

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X86bit on my HP Pavilion DV5 1235EE laptop.

I just recently reformatted my hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 7 home edition 64bit.
I can't nail this down but I think it's a USB driver issue. It reboots almost every hour only when the PC is unattended. The message logs all refer to product 768_1 whatever that is.

Computer resets after ~10 minutes, BSOD
so on a ~5 year old HP desktop with Vista, the computer cannot stay on for longer than 10 minutes, not even in safe mode. it simply resets, goes into "Windows did not shutdown properly" message at the boot menu. i've checked all vents, everything is clean and there is enough thermal paste on the cpu, and the fan is working. do you guys think a fresh install of windows 7 would solve this easily?...
