BSOD randomly with unclear USB error

Hi I am getting bsod randomly and with increasing frequency now, almost everyday now. There is some sort of usb error but the bsod is only visible for a short time to read everything. i usually get usb device not recognised error pop up's during use, plus the usb sound accompanying the pop up( the one you hear when you plug in a usb device) only i do not have a device plugged, or...
