Hi, I am getting a bsod but can start up using safe mode. For some reason or other my pc isnt seeing my dvdr so I cant start up from the win7 instal disk or make a recovery disc that way. Is there a quick fix for me? The problem started when my machine was updateing windows (it may have been win 10) and I had a short power outage. Chers in advance, FTI

Crashes (freeze, reboot, BSOD) shortly after boot

I've been recently experiencing crashes shortly after booting in Win7... the problem only happens within +-10-15 min of booting. So after several initial crashes it almost always will finally go on working without a hitch for the rest of the day!? Which could be 10-12 hours working normally (this therefore makes me think it's not an overheating problem). The problem has recently gotten worse,...

Very random BSOD, 0xF4

So yesterday, my PC gave me a BSOD twice within a few hours of each other. I've gotten blue screens very infrequently in the past and never thought much of it. Anyway, a friend recommended that I try using WhoCrashed to try and figure out whats causing it. I'll just copy and paste the analysis that WhoCrashed provided for both crashes. Note that my PC only blue screened twice, but there are 3...

Hello there! I have built this PC 1 year ago and this is the first BSOD I've experienced. I've pressed the power button, turned around to the kitchen to get my coffee and when I've returned I've seen only a glimpse of BSOD before it was gone. I've provided you with all the info which forum tool has gathered in the attachment below. I really want to know the reason for BSOD so i can prevent...

Hey everyone so I just built a new desktop and I've been getting blue screens every so often. I first put Windows 10 on it, it started blue screening about three hours afterwards giving errors like page fault in non paged area, kernel data in page error etc. I figured it was the drivers so I reinstalled all the latest drivers and it worked for a bit then still blue screened. The most common...

BACKSTORY: Tortuous process here, wanted to put a new RAID card in my main PC because i got a deal on a bunch of gently used 4Tb drives. Got a PERC H310 card off ebay, working pull, re-arrange a couple things, and away we go. so. many. issues! 3 reinstalls of 2 OSes, new RAM and SATA cables, 2 different PERC firmwares and 3 different drivers, I'm at my wit's end. ISSUE: BSOD when...

Random reboots & bsod's

Hello, I have a 5 year old 'new' PC my friend & I assembled back in March 2011. What I mean by 'new' is I barely have over 50 uptime hours on it since we built it. This is because at that time we also got new smartphones, tablets & mini-pads & I found that I don't really need to run all the way upstairs (tri-level home, I'm getting old) to my PC to do anything but adjust modem & router settings,...

I have been having BSOD problems since day one with this PC. I have had it for over 1 year and have recently went to Windows 7 to see if it will help. So far it seems to have slowed the BSOD problem but not fix it completely. All parts I have are compatible with with Windows 7. Posting the files below that you need to help me. Thanks so much.

I've gotten this error once before according to bluescreenviewer. Here is a screenshot of that tab. http://i.imgur.com/7qRVBnI.png I happened to be playing WoW when this happened with music playing on youtube if that's of any consequence.

BSOD occuring several times a week, hoping for answers, thank you!

Attached is the dump/logs as per the posting instructions. I've just disabled automatic restart so im unsure what the actual error is, but it happens frequently, several times a week. Another oddity is that it always goes directly to bios after restarting. I have it set to halt on error and force F1 to continue, yet it always jumps straight to bios on reboot. Its a ASUS VII Maximus mobo...

Boots fine, then crashes consistently after about 10min of on time. No recent changes of any kind that I can think of. In the past 6 months or so I've been slowly having little troubles with my 3-4 year old SSD. Its only a 60GB drive and I've been bad about keeping it pretty full. Could the drive be going? Thank you!

Logon Process Initialization Failure

This isn't exactly a BSOD issue but I wasn't sure where to post it. My laptop is giving me this error: "Logon Process Initialization Failure" when it starts. There is a hotfix available for this, in the form of an MSU, but I don't know how to apply it since I can't sign into the computer. I am able to get to the command prompt in recovery but after that I'm not sure what I should be...

Hello my Windows 7 kept BSOD frequently so I installed new Windows 7 from scratch. However the problem persisted. BSOD keeps happening randomly. BSOD happens when watching a video from Youtube, waking up from sleep or on idle. I'm suspecting that it might be a hardware failure but I'm not sure. I'm attaching dump files for the BSOD. If you can give me an idea of what the problem might be, it will...

Since two days ago, I've gotten an alarming number of BSOD's. They all happen at random times, whether I'm playing CS:GO or I'm sitting at the login screen. Any help is appreciated. I've also tried running my computer with one RAM stick at a time, but it happened with each one individually. Here are my computer specs: Intel Core i5-2500K, EVGA GeForce GTX 760, Cooler Master HAF 912 -...

Hi, this is my first time coming to this forum after tying a multitude of forums and not knowing what to do. I have a custom made computer that bluescreened for three months on end every day repeatedly before I had enough and reinstalled windows. I have done this twice now, the latest being today, and I just bluescreened again. I've had a large number of bluescreens but the one i see the most...

Mouse Freezing and BSOD

Hi. The problem initially started with an un-expected BSOD so I re-started using Safe Mode and completed system re-store. Re-booted to normal mode and noted that after 3-4 minutes the mouse on track pad and via USB port would freeze and PC became un-responsive. PC works fine in Safe Mode with networking option selected. I have manually updated device drivers in Device Manager. System is...

Various BSODs, multiple issues, Memtest inconclusive results.

I hope I have posted on the correct page but my problem has had quite a few facets. It has been manifesting itself for many months now and am certain there is a hardware fault somewhere but I have yet to pin it down. I originally had BSOD errors mainly when playing games, but sometimes randomly after the PC had been running for a while. There were also occasional chkdsk errors. I had already...
