BSOD after interrupting chkdsk: error 0xc000000f
Yesterday, I started up my computer and chkdsk was running. Believing it wouldn't take longer than a hour, I let it check files. Desperately wanting to use my computer, I took a risk to restart the computer by holding the power button, which ended in up with the BSOD. BSOD with NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM Bugstring
Sorry I don't know very much about computers. I don't know what's the problem in my PC, I think its a hardware thing.
My computer is randomly showing BSOD (sometimes within an hour etc). But there is one day wherein it does not go into BSOD. Also some applications like google chrome or vlc suddenly crashes.
I tried reformating it to windows 7 ultimate x64 but the problem still persists....

BSOD at idle now
I was plagued by multiple BSOD's about two months back and replaced my onboard NIC with an Intel PCI card a couple of weeks ago (and disabled the onboard in the BIOS). I thought I had the problem licked but over the last 7-10 days I've had BSOD's while the computer has been idle overnight (typically happens early morning) - it's not sleeping or hibernating at any point.

BSOD when using CIMCO program (0x0000007A)
We use Mastercam X8 on a Windows 64 bit Dell Precision M4800. We also use a program called CIMCO that will send the data to the lathe using a USB to Serial adapter. It has worked fine in the past but recently always BSOD whenever we click the transmit button in CIMCO to send the data to the lathe.

I just recently did a clean install on my new ssd. I have BSOD twice since the install and did not previously. Windows updates are now all up to date but where not before this BSOD. BSOD when installing new ram
I spent yesterday trying to get my new ram to work, but to no avail. It is 4 2gb sticks of Kingston KVR16N11S6/2. They meet the requirements according to the motherboard manual.
