Solved Random BSOD error 0x00000116
I've been getting random BSOD for about 2 weeks now while gaming (multiple in Diablo 3, a couple in Dragon Age Inquisition), browsing (firefox and Chrome, usually while watching a stream on Twitch), while watching videos in VLC, and while the PC was was idle.

I bought an refurbed Alienware 13. Windows 7 pro. It arrived on 3/12. After about 3 hours of general use, it BSOD'd in the middle of a youtube video: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.
When I went to look for the dmp file, I found that there was already one in there from 2/20, aka from before I owned it. Uh oh.

Solved BSOD, intermittent over past year, worse recently when gaming
Been having problem on/off for a while, but has been getting worse recently. Can't pinpoint a common trend; can happen while idling or while playing games.
I have a pc from chillblast, that I think was overclocked at the factory - I've read this can cause problems but since I didn't do it myself, I'm unsure how to undo it.

Today I've started to get this problem while watching movies. My computer crashes during it. I've attached the photo I took of the error screen, and also zip with my system information and dump files, which was suggested to do in "BSOD - Posting Instructions"

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue. I have recently built my own new computer,and all is performing well and is exactly as i expected, apart for some random BSOD's. Frequent Freezes, BSOD, Disk Check auto cancels, and Hard Disk Errors

So I recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium on an Acer Aspire 5349. I've been having a bunch of issues with it since the install.
Firstly, When I boot, it takes me to the "Disk Check" screen and tells me that one of my disks needs to be checked for consistency. However, the disk in question isn't something like "C:" or "D:" it's "\\?\volume{c4afec15-cb60-11e4-9583-806e6f6e6963}"....

Intermittent BSOD Since Building NEW PC
