BSOD after mobo / memory upgrade - system freezes - etc

So, let me see. I upgraded my system to an MSI 990FXA-GD80 with GSkill Ripjaws X 16gb 1600 (in 2x8gb sticks that came packaged together so presuming they matched them.) F3-1600CD9-16GXM that GSkill says is compatible with the MSI board. Though the bios only sees it as 1333 when set to auto. No luck unsetting auto and setting the values to what is listed from GSkill, still BSOD errors almost daily...

Hi all, I hope to get some help on the random BSODs I have been getting for a while now. I suspect it has something to do with my graphics card (Nvidia GT 545) but updating drivers doesn't seem to help. Sometimes the screen just goes black, with the monitor go on standby, other time it just restarts. Display set up is I have a HP monitor via DVI, and a secondary (split display) to a Sony on...

Hi I've been having intermittent BSOD problems for a while, at first I thought it could be my graphics card overheating because it would happen more often when playing a game with high graphics settings. The graphics card fan was wonky so I replaced it, and it seemed ok for a while, but I'm now sometimes getting a BSOD even when nothing is actively running on the computer, I've used CC...

For one month I randomly get BSOD with mostly error 0xA and 0xC5, but also once 0x19 and 0xC9 - everything needed in the zipped dump files below. I've found similar issues in the net but without satisfying solution. Usually system freezes for a while (the music is looted and only mouse is working but doesn't interact with opened windows or apps) and displays BSOD dumping files and reboot...

Hello, yesterday my PC suddenly crashed (without BSOD) while I was in a game, tried to restart, failed, giving me 4 short beeps instead. When I retried it started without a problem. Everything in Windows seemed to be working fine and after a while I started another game. After maybe 15 minutes I got the first BSOD with the following code: Stop: 0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFFC000001D, ...

I have a Lenovo Z570 (i5-2450m + 6GB ram + NVidia gt520m) + Windows 7 Ultimate I get BSOD when I try to watch a youtube video in Firefox. I have to say that this laptop has a physical switch to turn on and of Nvidia. Otherwise it uses Intel HD Grapics. During the BSOD Nvidia was disabled. I tried to install the original driver for HD Grapics but I still got BSOD.

The Apply box comes up but then the screen goes black and then the PC restarts. When windows loads and I log in I get the message that windows has recovered from a serious error. Hi, I have an HP Pavilion dv6-6c80el with AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT. After installing new OS, I couldn't find any good driver for the GPU, I haven't the 'Recovery' disk so I can't access to the old ones. I have installed the latest Intel HD graphics and AMD drivers but while I'm playing games, using some programs, watching video, it crashes and appear 'Display driver stopped...." due to AMD...

I have gotten the BSOD twice in the past two days. The first time, ironically, was when I was running the Dell PC Check routinely (I do this monthly) on my Dell Vostro. I rebooted, and chose to start normally. Everything appeared ok, and I ran a full scan Dell PC Check successfully with no errors. This morning in the middle of writing a Gmail post, the BSOD hit again. This time Windows would...

Hello all, Over the past 6 months or so I have been getting random BSODs with no obvious symptoms of what is causing them. They started happening last September after I got back from the Summer. To begin with I tried to diagnose the problem following various guides to try and work out what could be causing them. I did the following: * Memtest * Reg check * Driver Verifier * Updated...

Generally speaking, I've been keeping drivers up to date. I have attached the dump files for both 18/02/15 and 01/02/15. I would really appreciate help on analysis with this, as I haven't been...

Hello - received a BSOD a couple of days ago while doing normal computer use. No gaming and no overheating. The laptop is just a few months old. Then today, while having VS open, Visio, MS word, and multiple browser sites open, my computer all of a sudden went to just lines across the screens(I have two monitors) and started a loud buzzing. The only way I could stop it was by a power...

Hello and thanks for the help in advance, I'm running on a fresh install of windows, with all drivers being up to date as far as I can tell, but I've been getting the same BSOD over and over and I'd appreciate some advice on how to figure out the problem. It happens at seemingly random times, but I never had this problem prior to my reinstall so perhaps I made some sort of error, or one of...

Built my first rig as a treat after exams (4 months ago) and have relatively few issues with it, but every so often (once or twice a week) I'll get a BSOD. No single program seems to be triggering it, and it never occurs in games or when the system is under stress. Most often it occurs a few moments after I exit a game or sometimes when I alt tab on chrome. Most of the time this occurs after my...
