The windows installed driver for my the card worked fine, however I decided to install the official drivers:D via Driver CD that came with the card. Solved BSOD while playing game, Nvlddmkm.sys error - only works in safe mode
Hi everyone. My boyfriend's computer has crashed - the dreaded BSOD came up while in mid-game. It flashes for about a second and then restarts itself. I can't boot the computer normally without the BSOD coming up again with the same error. I've managed to take a picture of the error screen and I'll upload it here. This is my custom build computer of 4 - 5 years. The past year or so i keep getting random BSOD. There are times right after i do a windows update, the very next day my computer will crash. I am running the latest nvidia drivers, and also run windows update. Some times the error says Memory Management, or ntfs.sys, fltmgr.sys. I did a memory test and it passes. BSOD while Reenabling Ethernet/possibly caused by failing hard disk?
A BSOD happened around a week ago while re-enabling my ethernet adapter on my laptop. This is the first and only time my computer has blue screened as of now.
A previous disk check(yesterday) found bad sectors within my hard drive(might be a sign of a bad hard disk?). Could that have been the cause of the BSOD?
