I'm trying to help my father out with his laptop.
Every few months it will go through a series of 'bad days' where it BSOD's quite a bit. He can't get his email or do any work. Usually it clears up of its own volition in a few days and it works fine for a couple months or so. Then the BSOD's happen again. Minidump Problem - blue screen only able to start in safe mode

BSOD BCCode 50. freezes in normal mode, works fine in safe mode

Blue screen in game
I'll start a clean thread since I forgot the SF diagnostic dump files
When I start a game. I get past the loading screen into the gameplay. First time I got a couple minutes in and the sound freezes up and BSOD happens. Second time I tried after the BIOS upgrade, it's within a matter of seconds.
