As the title says, i get a BSOD pretty much at any given time. I figured it would be the overclocking i did but even at the default values for my CPU and GPU it still occurs from time to time. As far as i know i have all my drivers up to date, this was a custom build and not a pre-built. I'm really thankful for any help or suggestions, i've come here before and it was certainly not in...

Regular BSOD on Shutdown

Hi, folks. I've been getting a BSOD on shutdown for a while now. It _only_ happens when shutting down. At first it was merely occasional, but lately it's happening practically every time. Oddly, this happened on my previous desktop so I'm wondering if a program or USB peripheral I'm still using from my old computer is to blame. Attached is my SF Diagnostic Tool zip file. And my Windows...

Random BSODs: Usually error 0X0000001E, distorted screen + audio

Hey all -- first post, so I'll try to be as thorough as possible. I've been having fairly random crashes for the past several months and I'm not sure what's to blame. The last major hardware change was the addition of a Seagate Barricuda 1TB to go alongside my WD Caviar Black, but that's been without any issues for the whole year or so it's been installed. Early on, I got actual BSODs, but...

Ever since I got my hardware upgrade and installed it with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, I have been plagued by this randomly freezing issue. This is completely driving me bonkers and I'm completely out of solutions right now. I've just reformatted the whole SSD only to be hit by the random freezes again right after I tried to install other softwares. Is my BIOS somehow configured wrong? I've...

Inconsistent BSOD while using Chrome

I've been getting system hangs lately, which result in a BSOD some seconds later. So far this has only been while using Chrome, and always while doing *something* (ie opening a new tab, following a link, clicking to enlarge a photo... etc). But not consistently so, I am able to use Chrome to do exactly what caused my previous crash once the system has rebooted. So far the only thing I've tried...

When the computer reaches the Windows logo, it hangs for a while before blue screening. Boots up fine when I turn SurroundView off. The dedicated card is an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series, and the onboard card is an ATI Radeon 3000. Thanks

Rare But Persistent BSODs. Most Shown to be Caused by ntoskrnl.exe?

It's been a little over a year since I built a custom computer, and for some odd reason it gets around four BSODs a month. I'll either get one while surfing the web, playing a game, or doing anything really. I've analyzed the dump files with WhoCrashed and it shows that ntoskrnl.exe is "probably" the cause of most the crashes. I don't know if that's really the case, but If I could get some help...

BSOD randomly occurs. Twice while gaming. Once, while not.

I've had this PC for probably about a year now. I haven't run into any problems other than my faulty PSU, which I RMA'd and got a new one. So that's fixed. But last night, while playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive, my PC decided to reboot itself. When it booted back up, the windows thing telling me it had just recovered from a BSOD popped up. Then, it happened again, while I was idling in...

Hello everyone , I recently bought a new computer and have been getting Memory Management BSODs when using Google Chrome.I have played games for hours and it never happens. Only when using Chrome to browse websites. But it is probably not Chrome and more likely my ram. I just want to make sure that is the cause of the problem. The reason I think it is my ram is because I use 1866mhz ram...

I'm using windows 32bit on a 15 inch macbook pro through bootcamp. I haven't been quick enough to get the error code. The BSOD occurs seemingly randomly; once while loading a youtube video, once while the computer was just idling, once while chrome was open. The error code mentioned something about it being a graphics card error, and I've heard that the graphics cards on 2011 macbook pros...

I've been having BSODs for a few days now and it only happens when I play Team Fortress 2. All other games are fine. So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but it still did not help. The BSOD only seems to happen when I quit the game or minimize it. I looked at the minidump and from what I saw win32k.sys driver caused the BSOD. So I googled it so see how to fix it, and everyone suggested...

I was watching a video on Amazon Prime and I got a BSOD. I just built this system several days ago and this is the first BSOD I have run into. Attached is a text file of the BSOD properties I got from BSOD viewer. I am also including the .dmp file in a .rar in case you need that too. Please let me know if you need anything else from me! Any help is much appreciated!!!

Hi, first at all, because of x109 BSOD I switched from Home Edition x64 to Ultimate x64. After a fresh install and after 1 day I'm already having new BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0. I have already: 1) Updated all the drivers through driver genius 2) Updated BIOS and Windows 3) Changed a suspect broken RAM (I have 2*4GB ram) - by memtest, anyway, no problem after 9 passes 4) Changed...

Been hampered by various blue screen of death codes, and no google searches yielded any fixes. BSOD occurs during browing on Chrome or working on Word. Having downloaded BlueScreenView, I took a look and ntoskrnl.exe seems to be the most frequent offender. This is an Asus Laptop, intel i3 64 bit, which originally had windows 8, and now has 8.1. More information is in my profile. Any...

BSOD - Driver Power State Failure

Hey Everyone, If anyone could take a look at this and see why I got the BSOD for Driver Power State Failure, I would greatly appreciate it. There are a few .dmp files in the attachment, but the only one I am concerned about would be the most recent one and may be the one before, since they are both related to Driver Power State Failure. Thanks in advance.

I've been getting this BSOD more frequently in the past few weeks, and I saw in another thread that it is generally a hardware issue. I'm downloading Furmark/Prime95/ and Mtest 86+ right now and will get back to you.
