I recently got my pc back up and running after replacing a bad hard drive and now whenever I try to install windows 7 (tried both home premium and ultimate) my pc would randomly bluescreen. The errors always had to do with kernel files and almost always prevented my pc from booting soon after. Freezes or Hangs every 8 minutes, this is a real head scratcher!
I got the BSOD last week so I did a clean reinstall of windows 7...Since then I have been dealing with my laptop freezing/hanging every 8 minutes. It will stay like that for about 60 seconds and then go back to "normal" for 8 minutes.

I have been getting all sorts of BSOD errors with different errors at different times. I have tried a memtest and figured out that one of my RAM ports is a bit faulty so I have since removed the RAM card from that slot and am just running on 1 4gb RAM card.
