OK, my OS is Windows 7 64 bit and my laptop is nearly 4 years old. Lately, I am getting the blue screen of death. This is the message:
"Collecting data for crash dump. Physical memory dump failed with status 0XC0000010". What does this mean? I restated the laptop a couple of times and now the error appears to have gone. I have no idea what caused this error or if the error will appear again....

my problem..2 days ago was playing cod black ops 2 and my pc froze..crashed to desktop and then got bsod
while i was playing i was voice chatting on skype, had windows media player playing music and facebook at google chrome
after restart pc booted normally but after 10 mins got bsod again
that happend 2 more times..
then got to safe mode uninstalled...

BSOD While Shutting Down, error 0x0000009F

Recently when I've been fully shutting down my laptop (Alienware m17x R3) I have been getting a BSOD with the tagline DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.

Solved Multiple BSODs, Driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal etc.
So, my bluescreens are back.
I've previously run the SeaTools hard drive diagnostic program and all three of my hard drives have passed which more or less rules them out. I've run Memtest for only about 10 minutes but haven't come across any errors. I'll run it overnight tonight though to be perfectly sure that the ram isn't the problem. Hi,
I installed Pinnacle Studio 9, but the PCI board to capture video did not work. So, I upgraded to Studio 16, and my PCI was recognized by my pc. But, when I try to capture some video, my windows crash. I tried many times, but it was not succesfull.
