Recently I was just browsing the internet and my HP Pavillion p7-1074 got a blue screen of death. It flashed away very quickly so I didn't get to notice the error code. Then I tried to turn the computer back on and it wouldn't get past the windows logo. I tried booting it in windows recovery mode and safe mode, but those didn't work either. How do I fix this? I would prefer to not lose any files...

Blue screen when adding XP to Win7-64, change drive settings?
I run win7-64 and need to install XP. I made a space, and booted from the XP CD. After it loaded files, when starting, it crashed. I read on a forum I need to set the drive to compatibility mode (called legacy in my setup). It warns my OS may not boot.
What should I do? I'm afraid to change the drive setting and have Win7 not boot. But I need to get XP working. I do have two drives. Second is...

Built a computer in August, it was running beautifully, but after some of my video card updates, it started giving me regular BSOD. I reinstalled windows, bought a new hard drive, reinstalled windows, and I still get BSOD.

Memory Dump-Can't Shutdown Laptop
Hi Everybody,
I have a hp laptop and I installed win8 on it. nowadays when I want to shut down or restart my laptop it took a very long time and after that it just restart and after loading windows it gives me an error about memory. I uploaded report which windows creates.:(:(

Frequent BSODs when surfing and software errors
I've been receiving BSODs very frequently, most of the time within minutes after booting up. My web browsers would stop working many times before the BSODs, be it IE or Chrome, and getting the prompts asking whether I would like to check online for a solution or simply close the program.

BSOD and then restarts, randomly
This started happening yesterday and has happened four times since then. Randomly, the screen goes black and after 5 seconds, the system restarts.
A dialog box appears saying "Windows has recovered from a serious ...... "

BSOD while playing flash games or listening to music on youtube
I cannot figure this out. I have done several fresh installs. Made sure everything is seated properly. Any help? I keep getting a BSOD while doing simple things on the internet. Such as flash games or youtube or even just playing Spider Solitare. But I can play BF3 or Black ops 2 for several hours with no problem.
